How to get access to the LPC Hypernews:

• log on to some UAF machine (click here for log on instructions)
• execute the 'HNCreateMember.pl' script (it should be in your path)

When you complete the script, it will tell you the web adress of the forum.

When you try to go to the forum, you may get a request for certification. Please hit cancel on that window to continue (cancel, not okay)

At the top of the page, you will find the various useful links, next to the "LPC" logo:

1. go to member info to add a link for your personal web page
2. go to member list to find out about other members
3. go to "subscribe to Forums" to get an email when somebody posts to a forum
4. go to "forums by catagory" to see all the forums"

To try it out, try posting in the the "HyperNews Test Forum"

Once you have tried this, please request a forum for your working group and let your group members know!
