LPC Communications
Mailing Lists
We have a listserv for people interested in receiving news regarding the LPC. To subscribe, send a mail to listserv@fnal.gov. Leave the subject line empty and put "subscribe USCMS-LPC your_first_name your_last_name" in the body, without the quotation marks.
You may also want to join other USCMS mailing lists, like uscms-all. For instructions on how to get a list of all mailing lists, go to this link. The USCMS lists generally start with "uscms-*" or "lpc-*". Browse through them and join the ones that look interesting. The mailing list "lpc-daily-meetings" will send you a daily mail with the list of that day's meetings.
Especially, you may wish to join lpc-howto. This is a listserv you can use to ask questions (even stupid ones) about cms software and get answers from your fellow users.
You should also join the new Hypernews! It beats listserves! For instructions on how to join, click here.

There are also mailing lists at CERN, for international CMS. To get on these, you need a CERN computing account, then you need to go to this link and log onto SIMBA.
