LPC Advisory Board
Purpose
The purpose of the LPC Advisory Board is to give advise to the LPC leaders, especially on matters pertaining to University involvement.
Organization
- The LPC Advisory Board will have 9 members.
- The members are selected by the LPC Leaders and the US CMS Research Program Manager.
- the US CMS Research Program manager, his deputy, and the software and computing project manager shall be ex-officio members.
- 1/3 of the members will be replaced at the start of each calender year.
- The LPC Advisory Board will meet 4 times per year, in January, April, July, and October.
- The LPC Advisory Board will elect a chair. The election will be run by the former chair. The term is one year.
- The chair will be responsible for finding a date and time for the meeting and keeping minutes of the meeting.
- The LPC leaders, after consulting with the chair, will set the agenda for the meeting.
